About the role:
We are looking for an administrator to help with the preparation, calculation, and administration of shareholder transactions to ensure we meet CDC's obligations to shareholders and government bodies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain data for liquidity events, updating for individual manager responses.
- Maintain data for longterm incentive vesting, updating for individual manager responses.
- Track and manage paperwork between CDC, Managers and Sponsors.
- Project manage both liquidity event and longterm incentive vesting to ensure all deadlines met, escalating when required.
- Reconciling data against ASIC records and internal share registry information.
- Calculate and coordinate payment of various payments to the business stakeholders.
- Assisting the Tax Manager with liaising with stakeholders, external advisors and regulators.
- Support the compliance and reporting on various tax outcomes.
- Proactively evaluate current business processes to identify areas of improvement.
- Embrace and model CDC's DNA and Leadership Fundamentals.
- Other duties as direction from time to time.
About you:
- 1+ years' experience working in financial accounting or similar role.
- Working knowledge of income tax and GST classifications,
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, accounting or business administration.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information.
- Strong attention to detail, maintenance of robust quality control processes and proactive problemsolving skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work.
Essential:
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Security Clearance at Negative Vetting 2 level.
