Remuneration:
$31.31 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging options designed to reduce your taxable income

About the role


The Operating Theatre Technician provides technical services in the operating theatre including the transfer of patients, cleaning duties, maintenance of equipment and routine stocktake.


The Operating Theatre Assistant is essential to the process flow of the operating theatre and works under the direction of the Nurse Manager.

This position involves a seven-day roster with on call and overtime responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Support the transfer of patients to and from the Operating Theatre.
Complete regular cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Prioritise and implement planned care to achieve expected outcomes of established priorities.

Ensure adequate routine stock supplies in the Theatre suite by ordering supplies as necessary or directed by the Nurse Manager.
