Due to in internal promotion, we have a vacancy for a Team Leader.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Team Leader oversees the payroll team in providing accurate and timely processing of a high-volume payroll function, including daily and weekly payroll for a casual nursing workforce.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform and manage end to end processing and administration for Nursing Agency payroll/s efficiently and accurately within agreed timeframes and in accordance with company policies, procedures and work practices.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement of payroll processing functions and effectively support, communicate and facilitate change with the payroll team and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure that timesheets are received, reviewed to ensure accuracy of approval, accurately entered and paid in accordance with agreed timeframes.
  • Facilitate the endtoend management of the companyspecific payroll and billing system, partnering with the accounts receivable team to ensure precision and integrity of payroll data to produce accurate client billing.
  • Provide excellent levels of client service to all stakeholders, ensuring that all pay related queries are dealt within a timely and responsible manner.

Skills and experience required:


  • Sound understanding of pay and billing including accounts receivable responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Fair Work Australia and National Employment Standards.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill including the ability to articulate ideas, present opinions and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience
