Customer experience has and always will be at the centre of what this business stands for, due to the fact that this Australian family run business is growing both in Australia and Internationally, they have partnered with SMAART Recruitment to find a Customer Service Consultant to join the team on a part-time basis.

This isn't your cut and dry office/call centre position where you will be asked to follow scripts and have your days planned out down to your toilet breaks.

You will be treated like a valued member of the team and given the autonomy and freedom to make the role your own.

This company is a leading retailer in the furniture and design space who are all about making and delivering beautiful yet sustainable pieces for this modern life.

About the position:

Defuse and resolve difficult customer interactions to make sure winwin outcomes are achieved
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure targets and service levels are met
Learn the product catalogue back to front, so you can be the expert
Create new ways of working and look to improve processes to achieve best practice

What we're looking for:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Practical experience supporting customers in an officebased environment, doing so in the furniture, design or ecommerce space would be fantastic
Excellent time management skills and confidence, and knowing how to seek out answers to questions you don't know.
Strong negotiation skills
A team player

What's in it for you:

Edgecliff location with parking

- $65,000 - $75,000 + Super

Pro rata
Mon-Fri business hours, but the ability to switch it up and work over weekends if that suits your lifestyle better
