Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) is Victoria's consumer regulator. Our vision is a fair and competitive marketplace in Victoria.

The Regulatory Transaction Services (RTS) provides business and occupational licensing and not-for-profit registration services to Victorians.


About the role


Reporting to the RTS Team Leader, Regulatory Officers are responsible for the timely and accurate execution of tasks in line with legislation and operational policies associated with CAV's licensing and registration schemes.


Regulatory Officers also provide information to clients both verbally and in writing and accurately and promptly maintain CAV's record management databases and resources.


In this role, you will:

  • Carry out tasks associated with the RTS' regulatory activities ensuring accurate, timely and professional services are provided to regulatory clients, so as to meet or exceed RTS goals and targets
  • Update, maintain and utilise electronic records and databases in accordance with RTS operational policy and departmental records management policies, procedures and business rules
