About the role
Drive operational excellence within RSPCA Qld teams as you provide expert rostering support.

The role involves refining rostering processes, implementing modern and legally compliant practices, and leading the transition to a new time and attendance system, Employment Hero.

Your expertise will be pivotal in achieving operational efficiency and delivering exceptional service quality. Join us in this dynamic opportunity to make a real impact.

  • Develop digital rosters tailored to operational needs.
  • Facilitate the transition to centralised rostering practices for 24/7 services.
  • Implement central rosters for new services, transitioning seamlessly to the new system.
  • Minimise disruptions from lastminute changes and absences.
  • Collaborate with leaders to match staff with service requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders for roster improvements.
  • Maintain uptodate roster documentation and training materials.
  • Provide backup support for payroll.

Who are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated experience in using rostering systems and MS Excel. An understanding of Deputy and Employment Hero is advantageous however not essential.
  • Previous rostering experience
  • Understanding of employee contractual and award/enterprise agreement obligations and interpretation.
  • Strong communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of payroll requirements or the desire to learn this area.
  • Collaborative mindset, adept at building strong relationships.
