  • Make your mark on an innovative, impactful brand
  • Experience working in scaleups and ethical brands needed
Hello change makers, out-of-the-box thinkers, don't play by the industry rules-ers

You know your way around a brand health check and strategy and can create a content calendar in your sleep.

You can dig your way into FB ads and the Google back-end but more importantly, you champion brand, new product launches and channel innovation day-in day-out.

Sure, it's great to be good at what you do, but what about actually
- doing_ good with your skills?

My client (who I am more than a little bit excited to partner with) is working to address financial inequality for women and non-binary people.

They're a feminist organisation (hell yeah) who are several years into their scale-up phase, making a positive impact on their 6,000 members and counting.

It's really a once-in-a-career opportunity to shape an innovative, stand-out brand in Australia, so you'll need to be not just on top of, but ahead of best practice and cultural movements in language, values and inclusivity.

In this newly developed role, you'll manage a team of 4, along with bringing in talented freelance content creators whenever you need.

You'll also work closely with the product team in marketing advice on app development and positioning - exciting stuff

Into DIY too? Put your handiwork to good use in building your own team as you drive revenue - there's no glass ceiling here.

Who are you?

  • You need to be a doer, especially initially. You should be able to create a detailed plan for how the first six months might look like.
  • You have previously launched or redeveloped a brand that starts conversations, working either inhouse or agency.
  • You can really show you will understand, elevate and drive the brand. There is no brand like this in the market and I'm not going to lie, it will be hard if you haven't worked on an ethical brand before. You'll need to understand the feminist space and the constantly changing discourse as their astute clients and audience will pick up on it immediately if you don't.
  • Ideally you have built highperforming teams (but they care more about the handson skills than this).
  • It would be great if you have a network of freelance content creators you can engage as needed.
Who are you not?

  • Someone who wants to manage a team of 30+ people right off the bat and won't roll up their sleeves to get stuck into things.
  • Someone who has only worked in industrystandard large financial services providers (they're trying NOT to be like them).
  • Someone who steers clear of complex topics, who doesn't want to engage in cultural discourse and inclusivity.

If all of this is sounding a little too daunting, then no stress this is not the one for you.

But, if I've got you thinking 'finally this is the role I've been waiting for'

then stick with me a little longer.

So, 'modern workplace', 'flexible working' - you've heard it all before (hello, buzzwords) but are looking for an employer who really walks the walk.

Well try taking these perks for a stroll:

  • Whilst you'll need to be based in Melbourne or Sydney for 2 days of quality time with the team, you can work from anywhere for the majority of the week (their fave 'anywheres' include the beach or the local) and for the most part, teams can set the hours and days they work. They even have a few team members tapping away from Europe and Bali right now (sign me up)
  • An outcomes over hours (or outfits) policy wear what you want, pick your kids up from school, cook your dinner and get your work done whenever suits you best. Their senior leadership team has a family too so they really get the adjustments that you might need.
  • Each team member has a flexible (and generous) professional development budget. They also invest $1000 per team member per year in group learning initiatives, team experience and cultureadd activities. And if all of that isn't enough, their teams also get 11 and group life and financial coaching sessions too
  • Paid Parental &

Carers Leave:
generous pregnancy, parental leave and carers leave policies.

  • Menstrual Leave: they offer opportunities for restful working circumstances when having to deal with symptoms of your period and menopause. This includes being able to work from home (nothing like being in your jammies with a heat pack on your tum to help with those horrible cramps) as well as up to 12 days of paid leave each year.

Please note:
Only those who fit the above criteria will be responded to.

You must have full working rights in Australia.

You must be based in Melbourne or Sydney.
