Your new role


The Rates Support Officer - Administration contributes to the efficient delivery of Council's Property and Revenue Services function through the provision of administrative support during peak workload times.


This is a temporary full-time role (Fixed term up to 2 months) based at our Civic Centre starting in late May 2024.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm but flexibility on the spread of hours can be accommodated.


This is a Band 4 classified role, remuneration will be $69, $73, pro-rata) (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

The key selection criteria for this role are:

  • Demonstrated commitment to displaying the organisation's values.
  • Customer service focus.
  • An ability and willingness to multiskill in conjunction with other team members.
  • Rating office experience in a local government setting
  • Strong computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrated administrative skills
