What being an OSHC Educator Entails
OSHC educators care for children before school, after school and during school holiday periods.

Highlights include running fascinating, fun-filled and educational activities with primary school children - such as science experiments, outdoor games and painting.


As an OSHC Educator you will:

Your workspace at the Y

YMCA Loganholme Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is a beautiful new service located within the Loganholme State School grounds in a brand-new double space room.

With 135 space the service has a steady growth and is constantly hitting milestones. Loganholme YMCA is built on a beautiful community bond with the school and families alike.

Celebrating the uniqueness of all who surround us we work to give each child their own voice and freedom of play each day.

Our service philosophy prioritises community and belonging, children's agency and the importance of spontaneous, multi-age play in middle childhood.

We offer a range of planned and spontaneous play experiences for children and welcome educators with unique skill sets to share with children.


The YMCA is the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East with over 45 services, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.


To be successful you must have:

  • A Certificate or Diploma qualification in Children Services or equivalent or if you are studying towards a relevant qualification
  • A Fantastic sense of fun & a tremendous imagination
  • Hold or are willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current Blue Card or willing to obtain one
