The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia's Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Maintenance Operations Planning Analyst to join Aircraft Maintenance Support Services for CH-47F (SG) Chinook with the Republic of Singapore Air Force, located at the Army Aviation Training Centre in Oakey, Queensland.

Our team support flight line operations and deeper maintenance work to ensure the customer's operational outcomes are achieved.

There may also be an opportunity for this position to support work away from the Oakey location for periods of 4 weeks or more each year within Australia.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide planning support to the Maintenance Operations Managers and Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Manage, control and audit aircraft maintenance data and data management systems.
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling for maintenance activities associated with the CH47F aircraft, aircraft components and systems.
  • The compilation and issuing of Work Orders and maintenance priorities to maintenance staff.
  • Assisting with development and updates of aircraft maintenance schedules to meet program operational requirements and performing reporting of maintenance activities.
  • Analyse, plan, organise and control the maintenance and repairs of aircraft and aircraft components using applicable Boeing software and management tools.
  • Develop and maintain aircraft maintenance schedules.
Experience/Qualifications

  • A strong background and an indepth knowledge of aircraft maintenance or similar environment.
Be familiar with maintenance planning requirements, including maintenance planning software programs such as cMRO, CAMM2, or similar programs.

  • Previous Maintenance Controller / Planner experience in an aircraft maintenance environment, or similar role.
  • Skills to develop and implement new policies, and maintenance programs that will enhance maintenance operations.
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products (in particular excel and project).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Be an Australian Citizen to meet Project and Defence security requirements.
  • Experience in Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD), military helicopters or Republic of Singapore Air Force aircraft maintenance documentation is desirable.
Security Clearance

You will be required to currently hold, or successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (Baseline) sponsored by BDA.

Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e.
