About the role.**:

Key responsibilities.**:

Perform Incident, Change and Problem management for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems. Ensure this is performed in accordance with Quality Management and ITIL principles
Collaborate between technology areas, solution architects and project teams on technology design, product design and use as well as technical implementation requirements
Use architectural/process knowledge and documentation to identify key considerations in management of the Solution
Liaise with a variety of stakeholders within Information Technology Branch (ITB) and internal Department business units, external providers and software vendors
Plan for and manage the upgrading and/or configuration of Department Systems
Facilitate and/or perform testing on new or changed Department Systems prior to release
Plan and coordinate the deployment of changes to Department Systems
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents/inquiries related to Department DES while ensuring root causes are identified and effectively managed
Other duties as required
The role may have quarterly Key Performance Indicators to maintain
Current and varied experience across public and private sector is highly desirable.
