As part of the growing Infrastructure Investment and Economics team, your role as an Executive Advisor will expand GHD Advisory's services in the Australian market, with a focus on Business Case and Economics in NSW.
You will co-ordinate provision of economic assessment services for a multitude of challenging infrastructure projects as well as for developing and growing GHD Advisory's presence and profile in the infrastructure market.
The key focus areas of the role will include:
- Co-ordinating and delivering assessments of infrastructure investment proposals
- Providing advice on a range of project assessments including strategic, social, economic, commercial, and financial management assessments
- Conducting reference industry studies and research
- Leading projects from end to end, acting as project director and/or project manager and guiding team members on project delivery
- Increasing market penetration, revenue and utilisation through expanded client relationships and new client acquisition
- Providing and facilitating thought leadership activities on issues related to infrastructure
- Working effectively across the virtual team and with other service groups.
You will have:
- At least 10 years' experience contracting, consulting or client side experience within the infrastructure industry (including transport, environment, urban economics, education, climate change, water, property and buildings, future energy or social infrastructure)
- Degree Qualification in Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Planning or a related discipline
- Project management/project director skills
- High level client relationship management skills
- Business development skills reflected in the achievement of revenue and growth targets
- Proven Leadership ability on multiagency /organisational projects and in the development of team members
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the operation and business case utilisation of financial modelling
- An understanding of relevant evaluation frameworks including economic and financial modelling techniques
- An ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a virtual office environment with team members across Australia and our global business
