About the Role
As an ECDD Analyst you will support BOQ Group in handling first line on‐boarding and ongoing AML/CTF responsibilities in the completion, review and maintenance of various activities including:

  • Responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and efficient completion of initial and ongoing KYC/Customer Due Diligence and maintaining client files in line with the bank's AML program.
  • Conduct due diligence on high risk entities to ascertain data points such as ownership and control to identify all ultimate beneficiaries, legal representatives, authorised signatories and highrisk PEP relationships
  • Liaising with the business to obtain KYC information during client on‐boarding and OCDD (on‐going customer due diligence) process
  • Guiding business to amend any data discrepancies in source systems related to KYC information
  • Screening of customer names against sanctions, adverse news and politically exposed persons (PEP) lists to help manage risk posed by highrisk customers
  • Strong capacity for coaching, development, support and advice to Junior Analysts and assisting in daily function of the team
  • Assisting leadership with various project work, including data remediation, UAT testing of systems, backlog assessment and special duties
  • Assessing a wide variety of complex ECDD cases to a high standard
  • The role is required to act as an escalation point for customer contact

About you
It will be important to have a strong, analytical mindset with attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Leadership experience would be beneficial in this role.
