About the role
As our new National Lottery Data and Insights Specialist, you will support the RSPCA's re-launched lottery. The role will report to the National Lottery Manager and be crucial in driving revenue growth. You'll focus on data management, analytics, and automation to enhance supporter journeys. This position provides a unique chance to contribute to one of Australia's most impactful charitable organisations.

  • Drive lottery campaigns with precision by developing and executing datadriven strategies.
  • Harness the power of data analytics to boost campaign performance and maximise return on investment (ROI).
  • Map out customer journeys and refine with insightful data analysis.
  • Dive into lottery sales data, customer insights, and market trends to find exciting opportunities for growth.
  • Create and present detailed reports that shape strategic decisionmaking for the team.
  • Use eyecatching data visualisations to communicate insights effectively.
  • Maintain a topnotch data repository by ensuring its integrity and reliability.
  • Team up with marketing and sales to turn data into actionable insights, while elevating the customer experience and deepen engagement.
  • Craft and implement strategies that leverage data to improve lottery sales and customer connections.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and emerging tools to ensure you're ahead of the curve in data analysis and insights.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to data collection and analysis processes.

Who are we looking for?

  • Qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
    is preferred, not essential
:


  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the gaming, lottery or other FMCG industries.
  • Proficiency in managing complex data segments within CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Genuine interest in animal welfare and the objectives of RSPCA.
  • Initiative and the ability to work productively and proactively in both a team and solitary environment.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 38 hours per week, across a Monday - Friday roster. Remuneration is commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.
