Our client is a high profile engineering and communications organisation with a national presence in Australia. Due to growth, they are seeking a number of Performance & Forecasting Planners to join their Melbourne team.

Reporting to the Performance & Forecasting Manager, you will be working in a friendly team to support the operational performance and success of the client's performance and forecasting group and general customer experience.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Coordinate statebased forecasts and track progress of key performance measures, internally and externally, across the telecommunications division
  • Effectively communicate workforce planning actions performed and outcomes taken to achieve the division's performance and forecasting objectives
  • Prepare and review an effective communications strategy for all reporting measures, ensuring all key stakeholders have clear visibility of all critical measures/metrics, including future views and targets set by the client
  • Work within a defined governance framework to achieve the division's deliverables for performance and forecasting
  • Identify and evaluate performance forecast v's actuals, and implement ongoing strategies and solutions to maintain positive outcomes
  • Proactively review forecasts to achieve internal and external KPI and SLA
  • Have 3+ years working in a high performing, fastpaced workforce, or project team
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvement for a fastpaced operational workforce
  • Demonstrated experience in complex forecast and resource modelling
  • Demonstrated experience using Power BI reporting to monitor outcomes and performance
  • Demonstrated experience in working with various regulatory authorities
  • Advance skills in using Power BI, MS Word, Excel, and other operational systems
  • Great interpersonal skill
  • Be able to work onsite a couple of days per week in the Melbourne CBD (hybrid)

Note:

this role will best suit people who have managed field technicians, telco, engineering environments or similar where you have had to forecast and plan resources.
