Proven experience and steady progression in a similar HR Management role

  • Prior experience leading, coaching, and mentoring direct reports
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal, written and interpersonal
  • Ability to adapt well to fastpaced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
  • A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
Amazon Operations Australia is currently the fastest growing region globally.

We are currently seeking a HR Manager to join the team in this high profile role located in Moorebank, NSW.

Reporting to the Regional HR Manager, you will provide full cycle human resources support to our Fulfillment Center.

Leading a small team of HR professionals, you will play a critical role in executing our people initiatives, providing excellent internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement initiatives.

As a HR Manager, you will have the ability to diagnose problems, identify, and drive appropriate solutions. You must be able to interface effectively with professionals at all levels.

You will need excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and planning ability, and the agility to function in a fast paced and innovative environment.

You will enjoy a varied role and a wide range of interactions across all levels on a daily basis.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work closely with operations teams to provide pragmatic, commercial and employeefocused advice and support
  • Provide a broad range of support across employee relations, people engagement, performance management, talent management, organizational development and organizational communication
  • Implement HR initiatives to drive and maintain a culture of excellent employee relations and communication
  • Leading and developing a team of high performing HR professionals
  • Coaching and mentoring of leaders from across the Fulfillment Center teams
  • Proactive gathering of data from appropriate sources to drive decision making
  • Maintain an emphasis on continuous improvement and best practices to be shared with other Fulfillment Center teams
  • Collaborate effectively across an number of internal and external teams including Finance, Payroll, Legal
  • Ability to support a 24/7 environment that has multiple shifts and a staffing ramp during our seasonal peak in the fourth quarter
Moorebank, NSW, AUS

  • Master's Degree or MBA in HRM
  • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
  • Prior experience supporting hourly employee client groups (distribution, manufacturing, or call center environments)
  • Experience in a call center, distribution center, or manufacturing environment
