BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)

Responsibilities:


  • Delivering training, assessment and student services that adhere to the principles of access and equity, meet the individual needs of students, and maximise outcomes for students;
  • Designing, developing and continuously improving training and assessment tools, resources and materials that comply with the mandates of relevant Training Packages, and that meet workplace and regulatory requirements, as appropriate;
  • Develop training facilitation plan per each unit of competency, ensure the face to face/online training delivery is conducted in accordance to developed training and assessment strategy and the assessment schedule.
  • Conducting assessment and making assessment decisions in accordance with the principles of assessment and rules of evidence;
  • Validating, moderating and continuously improving assessment tools and processes, and moderating assessment decisions;
  • Ensure an accurate record of student's academic performance and attendance are recorded and kept for each student in a timely and systematically manner.
  • Reporting on students who are absent for more than five consecutive days without approval, or who are not consistently attending their course to the training manager.
  • Actively participating in all rolerelated meetings and appointments including, but not limited to meetings and appointments associated with:
  • the review of student performance;
- student needs;
- assessment negotiation, delivery and outcome reporting;
- assessment validation and moderation;

  • NVR and ESOS Framework compliance; and
- complaints and grievances;

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of all aspects of RTO operations, including training and assessment, and student services;
  • Adhering to all endorsed RTO systems, codes, policies, procedures and strategies at all times to ensure the RTO's continued compliance for Continuing Registration;
  • Demonstrating current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment services being delivered;
  • Actively engaging in ongoing professional development to ensure the continued currency of VET knowledge and skills, industry skills / vocational competence, and trainer / assessor competence;
  • Complying at all times with governing Commonwealth and State legislation and regulatory requirements including those relating to, but not limited to:
  • work health and safety;
- anti-discrimination;
- workplace harassment, bullying and victimisation;
- privacy; vocational education and training; and
- copyright;

  • Providing regular feedback and updates to the CEO and RTO Manager on experiences as RTO Trainer & Assessor, to inform senior management decisionmaking in respect of RTO operations and training, assessment and student services delivery;
  • Undertaking and delivering outcomes for such other duties, activities and projects as may from time to time be assigned by the RTO Manager.

Mandatory Skills and qualifications required:


  • TAE40116/ TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Diploma or Advanced diploma in leadership and management
  • Ability to demonstrate industry experience/currency in relevant areas
  • Recent experience in both training and assessment for the relevant industry
  • Experience working with international students
  • Passion to train and motivate others
  • Expertise in training planning, delivery and assessment
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Accurate report writing and recordkeeping
  • Excellent communication skills

Highly Desirable:


  • Additional experience and qualifications in the relevant industry is highly desirable
  • Knowledge in training packages, compliance requirements and the VET sector an advantage

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Part-time hours: 22 per week


Salary:
$ $55.00 per hour
