Heritage Logistics Officer

Work Location:
Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.


Roster:
Monday - Friday


A newly created role within our Cultural Heritage team, the Heritage Logistics Officer is a pivotal role that will provide logistics and mobilisation support to both the Heritage Approvals and Heritage Compliance/Operations team at Fortescue.

Working in the Perth Fortescue centre, your responsibilities will include facilitation of mobilisation and logistics for new heritage consultants, cultural knowledge holders and heritage personnel.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the coordination and facilitation the mobilisation and onboarding process for new heritage consultants
  • Arrange travel requirements for heritage personnel including Native Title representatives and heritage consultants
  • Provide logístical support the Heritage Approvals and Heritage Compliance/Operations teams
  • Assist in the procurement and tracking of assets (ie vehicles, hardware)

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple tasks within tight timeframes.
  • Highly developed administrative and computer skills with an ability to learn and use new software quickly and effectively.
  • High level interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and positively with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds.
  • Desirable knowledge working with SAP, Ariba and FCM
