About the Role

We are currently working with one of the biggest rail network providers in Australia, to assist them in securing an experienced Trainer and Assessor to ensure that the operational team employees and contractors are equipped with the skills to perform their role safely while maintaining compliance with Rail Safety Act.

Some of the duties you will be responsible for as a Trainer and Assessor are as follows:
Delivering Safeworking trainings
Putting together training packages using adult learning principles
Assesing employees against training requirements
Liaise with the client's Registered Training Organisation and Quality and Compliance Team to ensure that the training meets the requirements.

Key Criteria
As a Workplace Trainer and Assessor, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Cert II/III in Rail Infrastructure and /or relevant experience in a similar role
Good understanding of the design, development and delivery of adult learning and development programs.
Cert IV in Training & Assessment is desirable
