THE OPPORTUNITY


The Department of Community & Social Inclusion at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links.


The department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively participate in all facets of the learning and management process from course enquiry and advice to assessing and determining the educational and training requirements of students completing Victorian Pathways Certificate, Certificate I Transition Education, Certificate I & II Work Education.


Salary:
$78,564 to $111,391 p.a. pro rata x 0.5 + $114,788 x 0.5 (range dependent upon qualifications and experience % superannuation and annual leave loading.


Time Fraction: 0.5EM Teaching


Location:
Moorabbin Campus (some travel to Chadstone and Waverley required)

WWCC:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check.

Police Check:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.

Position Status:
Contract of Employment to 24th April 2024.


ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum degree level qualification in specialist/inclusive education or similar (social work, psychology, primary or secondary school teaching)
  • At least 4 years of industry experience teaching or working in a school setting
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
  • AQF6+ level qualification in education preferred
  • VIT registration, or eligibility for registration preferred
  • Previous experience in management preferred
