We are currently partnering with one of Sydney's top Independent school's, and are seeking a dynamic individual to join the team as the Assistant Coordinator and Educational Leader for our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the vibrant educational environment at their esteemed institution.


As a leading educational institution situated across multiple sites, our client prides themselves on providing a nurturing and inclusive bilingual environment for our 1300 students from Preschool to Year 12.

The OSHC program plays a crucial role in supporting the needs of students outside regular school hours.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Coordinator of OSHC to deliver a highquality service in alignment with the National Quality Framework.
  • Assist in the management of administrative tasks essential to the smooth operation of OSHC programs.
  • Serve as the Responsible Person in Charge when required, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Step into the role of Coordinator of OSHC when necessary, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
  • Contribute to the organization and execution of Vacation Care programs during nonterm time.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:


  • Diploma, Certificate III or IV in School Age Education and Care (or equivalent).
  • Valid certifications in First Aid, Anaphylaxis Management, and Emergency Asthma Management, or willingness to obtain.
  • Proficiency in the National Quality Framework and Standards, coupled with a commitment to implementation.
  • Strong ICT skills, particularly in the Google Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Current Working with Children Check clearance.

  • Adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Experience in program development and evaluation.
