- General Handyperson duties (maintenance of retail supermarket store, including shop fitting, painting, carpentry, tiling and welding)
- Competent in operating general maintenance equipment
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance throughout the store to ensure standards are maintained.
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance to the store and attend service requests by by store or duty managers.
- Forklift and working at heights license is advantageous.
- Previous experience in general maintenance and repair work.
- Previous trade experience across shop fitting, painter, carpenter, tiling or welding is preferred
- Physically fit
- A great work ethic and ability to learn
- Good communication skills with a flexible approach
- Follow work safe procedures
- Proficiency in a wide range of maintenance tasks.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrated initiative in a remote community
