Key Account Manager, Private Wealth - Sydney, Australia - Perpetual Limited

The role of Key Account Manager, Private Wealth is focused on the development and execution of strategies to engage with the Private Wealth channel to develop new business opportunities and retain existing relationships within our business.
Sounds interesting? Here are some specifics about the opportunity:- Responsible for a portion of net flows in the Private Wealth market
- Collaborate with the Head of Private Wealth, Head of Strategic Accounts and Head of Asset Consultants to raise money in your channel
- Source leads and new business in target market maintaining a wellbalanced and detailed pipeline of opportunities large enough to deliver our net flow objectives
- Grow Perpetual's business in net flow/revenue terms across our priority funds
- Drive leads and insights from centres of influence and other market participants
- Document and work a strategic annual plan tailored to your target area, with appropriate documentation outlining key clients, opportunities/risk, bottomup build and stakeholders maps
- Active input to the sales team meetings and forums to come up with ideas, insights and input to help the team meet our net flow objectives
- Responsible for the identification and end to end relationship management and business development within your channel
- Support the process in building support for fund ratings, platform additions and model additions Maintain and manage CRM notes, activity and pipeline
- Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications (FINSIA, DFP)
- Degree qualification desirable
- CIMA or equivalent strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Sound understanding of Funds management industry including investment management
- Strong technical investment/market knowledge across multiple asset classes
- Ability to drive technical investment interaction to enhance sales opportunities
