About the role


As Concierge and Support Officer you will be part of the Concierge and Support team working together to proudly enhance the quality of service to our community.

Your focus will be on providing a welcoming, supported and reassuring experience for 1 Nicholas Street visitors, as a positive, tailored service experience to customers.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide a professional, warm and engaging point of contact for 1 Nicholas St visitors and customers
  • Provide a positive and reassuring experience by taking ownership of the triage, support and resolution of customer enquiries, including tailoring the level of support to meet customer needs
  • Transforming our customers experience with Ipswich City Council

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
  • A very high standard of etiquette and presentation
  • A minimum of 2 years face to face customer service experience
  • The ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a dynamic and supportive team
  • The ability to be resilient, agile, maintain awareness and respond to a wide variety of customer enquiries, across multiple computer systems

About the benefits


This is a permanent full-time role, level 3 with a salary commencing at $77,104 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
