Curtin English is the Curtin University English language centre based on the lively University Bentley Campus.

Curtin English has 50 years' experience delivering English to International students with 90% of our English Language Bridging students successfully completing their courses and moving on to Curtin University.

Curtin English not only develops students' English Language, but we also place emphasis on the importance of the social and welfare aspects of being an international student.


Your new role

Key duties and responsibilities include:


  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of learning and teaching policies and procedures, University courses, entry pathways, and admissions qualifications.
  • Advise and assist Curtin English students, sponsors, agents, and course coordinators on studyrelated matters.
  • Manage admissions processes for domestic students in the ELE/ELICOS programs, CELTA and Customised programs.
  • Coordinate orientation and graduation activities, organise student social events and other engagement activities.
  • Manage class scheduling, timetabling, and central room bookings.
  • Coordinate the Board of Examiners, including meeting minutes and recording results in the student management systems.
  • Communicate and liaise with staff across University service areas to facilitate administrative requirements and processes.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational and timemanagement skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with digital teaching delivery systems.
  • Knowledge of University admissions processes and compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational institution.
