Job description:
We are working with an expanding Design and Engineering consultancy who are looking to recruit a Drafter for their team based on the Gold Coast. Our client work across a number of engineering and environmental projects with some of Australia's largest Energy, Transport, Mining, and Local Government organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to translate conceptual sketches and ideas into detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
Create accurate and comprehensive technical drawings, including schematics, plans, and layouts, while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Participate in design reviews and discussions, offering insights and suggestions to enhance the overall design and manufacturability.
Revise drawings based on feedback from crossfunctional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
Assist in the preparation of documentation and presentations for client meetings and project proposals.

Key Skills:

2+ Years Experience in drafting/design on infrastructure or civil projects.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) to create detailed technical drawings
Bulk Earthworks, Culverts, Pipe Networks, Creek Rehabilitation, Detention Basins, Dams, Erosion and Sediment Controls
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in designs or drawings.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present ideas clearly.
Problemsolving aptitude to address design challenges and develop innovative solutions.
