The Opportunity
Reporting to the


You will:


  • Administer business rules config within systems to ensure compliant end user workflows.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, IS and product owners to have a complete understanding of the business processes and the technology that supports the business requirements both for the current solution and defining future vision.
  • Responsible for the coordination and implementation of technical configuration changes to the People Systems, including: Chris21; HR21; HumanForce; PeopleStreme; and Integration of people and payroll related data import and export to systems including T&A, Finance, Power BI, Alteryx, and other reporting systems.
  • Own and manage system related issues and/ or errors across all People Systems.
  • Work with the product owners, technology team, and system vendors to manage regular system upgrades and system operational enhancements with the delegated system SMEs in line with Change Management policy and operation of the CAB.
  • Support the Enterprise and Cyber Security Architects with technical expertise and assistance in integrating with and debugging systems used by and associated with the People Systems and its processes.
  • Work with the Technology team to architect and design the People Systems' environments, liaising with IT, Security, and other technical groups?to ensure all integration needs are met and fully implemented as necessary.
  • Work with the Technology team to identify existing architecture weaknesses and opportunities for improvement on the People Systems.
  • Represent the P&C Team on the broader People Systems user community to develop new ideas and enhancements to ensure our systems are represented and supported within technology discussions/timelines etc.
  • Consult with IT and business stakeholders in the development of business recovery, disaster recovery and business continuity plan to deliver/ensure system availability, reliability, stability to business needs.
  • Support the move to DevOps and increase levels of People Systems automation and CICD maturity.
  • Ensure support tickets escalated by the Service Desk are closed within SLAs.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in IT and/or Human Resource Management. Or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in all facets of Payroll, Workforce Management and HRIS.
  • Experience functional and technical configuration experience with Chris21 or similar systems (including GL and costing management)
  • Have a thorough understanding of the interdependencies between HRIS, payroll and WFM.
  • Exposure to upgrading or patching of the Chris21 or similar system.
  • Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of People Systems architecture and design.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing People Systems and implementing systems changes or automating business processes which improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, compliance, data integrity, reporting to improve decision making and customer experience.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and troubleshooting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
