- $33.37 Day Shift + Night Shift Penalties

The human resources assistant is strategic and hands-on role. You will provide HR support to AMZL's Customer Service Centers. The role is crucial in executing our people initiatives. Tasks vary in volume and complexity and include internal auditing, as well as internal and external reporting. They provide answers to questions regarding a broad range of human resources, benefits, and payroll topics. They manage cases, projects, and partner relationships with varying degrees of complexity.

Description

Key job responsibilities:

  • Responds quickly and accurately to questions from customers.
  • Ensures that employee documentation is complete and accurate ]
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for customers, escalates as appropriate.
  • Provides training and guidance on policies, processes, and systems to customers and team members
  • Creates and distributes standard communications
  • Audits and analyzes key findings.
  • Leads process improvement initiatives
  • Develops suggestions for improvements to maximize value of resources.

Profile

  • Experience (including systems/database administration) in HR, recruitment, or payroll.
  • Computer experience, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with numbers, data, run metrics and pull reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Payroll Systems, HRIS
  • Experience working in Human Resources functions (Ops Admin or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required

Job Offer

  • Casual contract (possible maximum term contract on offer)
- $33.37 day shift rate + night shift penalties. 7am-3pm & 4AM-12PM. Monday-Friday however there may be weekend work during Amazon peak season.

  • We require you to work 4 days per week. 1 day will be based at Craigieburn, the remaining days will be at Mulgrave and Melbourne Airport.
  • We can look at reimbursing certain travel amounts this is negotiated at a later time.
