Located in Scoresby Area, 7:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Temporary position likely to turn permanent
Hourly rate: $35 + super

This role is a potential temp to perm position looking for an automotive parts person to work with the used heavy vehicle parts incoming.

This is a great opportunity for somebody with limited experience but interest in the area and looking to develop in the role.

Our client is a global company that specialises in manufacturing and repairing diesel machinery. They are a supportive company with great ability to obtain, train and develop their employees internally

Description
This role includes (but is not limited to) the below responsibilities:

Unpacking, inspecting and repacking of used truck/machinery parts for re-manufacturing.
Some forklift driving may be required for an applicant with forklift licence.
Consistently model correct safety behaviours and foster a safety culture.
Attend, participate and complete all required training.
Comply to site Code of Conduct and Treatment of Each Other at Work Policy.
Make effective decisions and take relevant action when required when handling product to minimise waste / damage / rework

Profile
- provided full on the job training.

Must have good literacy and maths skills.
Be accountable for own performance including being on the job for all designated hours including start, finish and break times.
Be able to work autonomously but also on a team
