Description
The Team
The position of Regulatory Coordinator forms a part of the Trade and Investment Group and Invest Victoria Branch.

This Branch focusses on creating jobs and prosperity, by developing opportunities for Victorian businesses to expand internationally and by attracting investment into Victoria.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Coordinator to join The CarbonNet Project.

By helping the Victorian economy move toward net zero, the CarbonNet Project is a cutting-edge project investigating the potential for establishing a large-scale, carbon capture and storage (CCS) network in Victoria's Gippsland region.

CCS involves capturing CO2 released by industrial processes, compressing it and then transporting it to an injection site to be sequestered deep underground for safe, long-term storage in suitable geological formations - similar to the way oil and gas has been stored underground for millions of years.

As the Regulatory Coordinator, you will be supporting the effective delivery of a range of licences and permits from State and Commonwealth regulators including environmental approvals/submissions for the CarbonNet project.

About You

This role is for someone who enjoys providing a high-level customer service and enjoys stakeholder engagement within a fast pace and dynamic environment.

You will have demonstrated project management skills and/or the ability to co-ordinate a range of activities to support project outcomes.

To be successful in the role, you will need flexibility and adaptability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders.

Further Information

Applicants will be required to comply with the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Region's (department's) COVID-19 Vaccination requirements, as outlined in the department's COVID-19 Vaccination requirements policy and in line with the department's obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004, directions, policies or procedures, including but not limited to any requirement to provide evidence of vaccination status.
