The opportunity:
We are sourcing a Medical Administrator to join our Shared Value team at AIA in Sydney. This role will play a pivotal role in contributing to the success of the broader team and business.

This will be through providing quality and timely administration assistance, statistics, data and projects, ultimately assisting the business to Make a Difference in the lives of our customers.


To be successful in this role you will:

  • Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoices through Ariba
  • Conduct Risk in Change assessments for all new service providers or partners.
  • Support the Shared Value
  • Provider Services Manager with the procurement process and to coordinate events for our teams and shared value partners
  • Handle referral allocations within SLA's which includes data entry onto claims system to be accurate to ensure data integrity
  • Assist our occupational rehabilitation team with the document control management process and updates of the Rehab Frameworks, guidelines, templates, processes, presentations, rehab brochures
  • Administration experience within an insurer or a Rehabilitation Provider
  • Experience working within the life insurance industry
  • A strong understanding of injury, illness, medical terminology, insurance and rehabilitation providers
  • High level excel skills, attention to detail and time management
  • Being able to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
  • A commitment to and experience in the delivery of best practice administration
  • Awareness and understanding of risk management and data security requirements when handling medical data and the external transfer of data to third parties
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple requests whilst maintain strong attention to detail and data integrity
