About the role A Legislative Council Select Committee has been established to examine the 2026 Commonwealth Games bid and the progress of the Victorian regional infrastructure build.

The Committee will table its final report by April 2025.

We are seeking a suitably experienced person to act as Committee Manager of the select committee on a fixed-term basis until May 2025.

As Committee Manager you will manage the research and administrative work of the select committee culminating in a report to the Council.

In this role you will lead high level research and analysis, developing recommendations for the committee's consideration. The select committee will also receive some research and administrative support from the Council Committee Office.
About you

To succeed in the role, you will have well-developed interpersonal, communication, influencing and liaison skills and the demonstrated experience in the design and direction of projects and research of this nature with a multi-disciplinary team.

Your highly developed written and analytical skills will be a strength, and working knowledge of the functions and operations of the Parliament.
