Description

The focus of the role is to quickly and efficiently assist all callers with their questions, providing accurate and timely advice, including converting new Chisholm apprentices into enrolments and new Chisholm employers into Employer portal users.

A combination of phone, face-to-face and online tools will be used to provide advice to prospective students and their employers.


The incumbent is a key and active participant of the Chisholm Apprenticeship Hub and effectively works within the Trades and Apprenticeship portfolio to secure a positive outcome for prospective students and employers.

Your key accountabilities will include but is not limited to:

  • Triaging all hub phone calls and walk-ins to ensure prompt and efficient handling of their enquiry working towards increase of employer and student satisfaction
  • Delivering focused efforts to convert enquiry through to enrolment
  • Providing accurate program advice to prospective students in line with their goals to ensure student satisfaction
  • Conducting enrolment interviews as a secondary component to the role undertaking suitability and pretraining review assessments to ensure student meets course requirements
  • Completing pretraining review interview with student to ensure suitability for enrolment into the course
  • Undertaking eligibility assessment and confirm student's eligibility status in accordance with the VET funding contract

ABOUT YOU


You will have an undergraduate degree qualified (ideally in business, commerce, marketing or public relations), or have equivalent experience in a similar role.


You will have previous experience in the vocational education sector, general knowledge of education and / or admissions and recruitment including experience in a face to face or phone based environment.

Your understanding of nurture marketing and student recruitment lifecycles, a working knowledge of VET funding contract and eligibility requirements coupled with experience in dealing with non-native English speakers from diverse backgrounds will be crucial to your success.

CRM experience will be highly regarded.
