Chandler Macleod are seeking a Weighbridge Officer to join our client based in Unanderra Wollongong for a full time 18 month temporary role with potential extension.

Duties:

The Weighbridge Attendant Gatekeeper is responsible for controlling and coordinating waste movement on and off site so that all acceptable waste materials entering or leaving the site are recorded and accounted for.

Weigh accurately all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
Direct traffic coming onto site while monitoring all vehicles entering/leaving the site
Assist customers with their enquiries and ensure customers receive the highest service standard possible
Maintain a professional image of the company and always deliver high quality customer service
Maintain the weighbridge and general area of the weighbridge including the office in a clean, tidy and hazard free condition
Assist with general administrative duties and customer service, answering the telephone and directing calls as appropriate
Operate computerized systems and other workrelated systems
Produce reports from the weighbridge software as required
Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required.
Assist on reception when required

To be suitable for this role you till have:

Moderate computer knowledge and experience
Moderate experience in customer service
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks
