This is an exciting opportunity for an HR generalist to join a well-established and fast-growing Australian transportation company.

You will start off as a Human Resources Generalist and grow your career quickly as the company has a major growth strategy.


Based near the airport in Wolli Creek, you will be able to have free car parking and easy access to public transport.

You will join this team as the "go-to person" for all things HR who can dabble their expertise into all areas, including the culture, onboarding of new staff & development.

You will have free reign to add value on-site and this is exciting for someone.

The main responsibilities are:


  • Support the Managing Director to ensure your workforce understands the vision, mission and strategy and how they and their team(s) contribute to the achievement of our short and longterm goals.
  • This role is "handson" so provide advice and administration support on HR systems, policies, processes and general Employment matters.
  • Actively contribute to ensuring all people processes are effective and fit for purpose, suggesting improvements to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Guide and resolve employment issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the MD to ensure the maintenance of accurate records on positions, job descriptions, remuneration ranges, and organisational structure charts and maintain our central databases.
  • Work with external parties ie recruitment agencies to ensure you secure the best talent.
  • Help onboard new employees to the business.
  • Other ad hoc duties

Selection Criteria:


  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar Human Resources capacity
  • A degree or qualification is desirable but experience and a downtoearth individual who likes to have fun
