Overview
This position will provide administrative and project support to the Cloud Migration Project Manager.

The role contributes to a high performing team and acts to ensure planned tasks are organised, executed and communicated well.


Key accountabilities

  • Coordinate and participate in project activities, including meetings, schedules (Agile and Waterfall), resourcing, financials, project reports and reviews.
  • Provide administrative support to the Cloud Migration Project Manager and other teams.
  • Collaborate with the role supervisor, project staff and others in the department to establish and maintain procedures to support the administrative requirements of the project
  • Coordinate administrative tasks to support projects, including document productions and collation of materials, travel and accommodation arrangements, and meeting coordination in a timely and effective manner
  • Assist with financial and workforce transactional activities, including purchasing, invoice processing; ensure adherence to Departmental policies and processes
  • Proactively identify opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness across the project and team
  • Establish and maintain filing and records management systems, including registers and databases; create and maintain appropriate records

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working in projects in NSW public or commercial organisations in a similar role.
  • Experience and success in developing and managing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • High level communication skills.
  • Strong experience in using Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in managing and organising project documentation and artefacts.
  • Good proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
