Who are we looking for?
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Client Partner to join International, International Portfolio, Chancellery Division.


The Client Partner provides support to embed international activities within the Faculties by providing advice in relation to programs or initiatives to support the strategic direction of the QUT International team.

About the Chancellery Division

Chancellery Division is responsible for strategy, including Indigenous strategy, government relations and policy, assurance and risk, international, marketing and communications, and business development.

The Chancellery Division is led by the Vice-Chancellor and President.


About the International & External Relations Portfolio

The International and External Relations Portfolio in the Chancellery Division leads QUT's international strategy, international student recruitment activities, and international student mobility and exchange programs.

As part of the International and External Relations Portfolio, QUT International supports QUT's 'real world' positioning in teaching and research by seeking and servicing international, local and internal partnerships.


About QUT International
QUT International (QUTI) - QUT International's goal is to lead QUT's international engagement.

This is achieved in part through strengthening QUT's "real world" position in teaching and research by seeking and servicing international, local and internal partnerships.

The office also conducts appropriate marketing, research, promotions and communication activities for the purposes of recruitment.


What you need to succeed


As a strong communicator, you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and communicate the shared QUT Values in your approach to work.


You will demonstrate:

  • Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a degree in business or a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience in international recruitment.
  • Demonstrated high level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with others and effectively liaise and negotiate with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, and to interact positively, cooperatively, and equitably with colleagues to ensure that a high level of client service focus is maintained.
