An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Commercial Litigation team in Sydney, supporting a highly regarded and friendly, approachable partner and a team of lawyers.


As this partner is also our Diversity & Inclusion Partner, this role will also assist in supporting with administrative and logístical duties for our D&I initiatives, including liaising with key external stakeholders and event preparation.


This role will be well suited an organised and proactive administrative assistant who is capable of prioritising and taking responsibility for their day to day tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

Liaising with clients and stakeholders
File management
Matter opening
Managing calendars and appointments
High volume billing, time coding and reporting
Assisting with events and business development activities
Assisting with Diversity & Inclusion initiatives


Required skills and personal attributes:

Outstanding organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and commitments
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software
Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
