Our client is a leading property development company with an extensive portfolio of projects under construction and in the pipeline. They are searching for a Human Resources Officer to manage day-to-day employee relations issues and provide advice, support and guidance to managers and employees on all human resources related matters.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As well as managing day-to-day HR related matters, this permanent full-time position will be responsible for managing all recruitment and training needs, competency assessments and Workers Compensation matters.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparing human resources reports and documents as required.
- Maintaining employee records.
- Identifying, coordinating, and evaluating employee/site training needs in support of agreed plans.
- Ensuring site inductions to new and existing employees, contractors and visitors are completed.
- Managing all Workers Compensation claims including the rehabilitation and return to work of injured personnel.
- Managing and coordinating the rollout of new or modified HR Policies, Procedures and other related documents.
- Facilitating the implementation and ongoing management of site training requirements.
- Assisting managers with the production of HR documents such as position descriptions, key performance indicators, professional development plans etc.
- Managing and coordinating all HR projects.
- Coordinating and monitoring any Employer sponsored Visa Applications and ensuring compliance with Sponsorship Obligations.
- Reporting the occurrence of all incidents.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum of two to five years' experience in a Human Resources role.
- Degree or Diploma qualification in Human Resources.
- Computer literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to always maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
- Selfmotivated and ability to motivate others.
- Well organised with a disciplined approach.
- Ability to work autonomously, acting without supervision.
- Current certificate IV (Assessment & Training) and/or RTW Certification desirable.
