Please note:

Due to Machinery of Government changes under Section 30 of the Public Administration Act (PAA), effective 1 January 2023, your employment will be with the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action.

Corporate Services, including payroll, will be provided by the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions while a process for the formal transfer of staff in impacted areas is implemented.


You will be a self-motivated and committed individual, with excellent relationship building skills, initiative and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work proactively to ensure the best use of time.

You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills, as well as exceptional relationship management capability in order to negotiate with senior staff and external stakeholders on behalf of the Head of AVR.

You will be a key point of contact for the Agriculture Victoria Research branch.


This is a fixed-term position available for a period of 3 years. The work location for this position is Bundoora, with hybrid work arrangements available.
