We are seeking a Principal Project Delivery, to lead and mentor the Asset Renewal Project Team to ensure the complete and consistent delivery of the City's annual Asset Renewal Capital Program, across all infrastructure and buildings classes.

This position builds a collaborative and effective project management culture, underpinned by clear procedures and risk management, ensuring the delivery of projects safely, on time, and on budget.

Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, this position will support the City by:

  • Assisting with the technical and capital delivery of major project undertakings within the Alliance of Infrastructure and Operations
  • Managing the City of Perth buildings and civil infrastructure Asset Renewal Program from tendering to closeout
  • Overseeing the planning and scheduling of key project delivery activities of the Asset Renewal Project Team to ensure their portfolio will be delivered on target
  • Developing project briefs including scope, budget, schedules and program and liaise with other departments and stakeholders as required


To succeed in this role, you will have high-level program and project management experience in civil/infrastructure/building projects, relevant to municipal or urban enhancement projects.

Exposure to tendering and contract management in a complex multi-disciplinary environment is essential.
