About your new role


Reporting into the Head of Governance this shall provide ongoing assistance and support to the Head of Governance and produce robust risk documentation of various committees and forums.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Head of Governance to ensure each forum has appropriate documented Charters
  • Meetings and decisions are appropriately documented, shared and stored accordingly
  • Ensure each forum is appropriately attended, and actions are clear, documented and followed up between meetings as appropriate
  • Look for ways to utilise technology capabilities to simplify and automate documentation and consolidation of forums (where appropriate)
  • Work with the Head of Governance to continually review the committee/forum minutes and action items against its charter to ensure it continues to meet its designed purpose effectively
  • Stay abreast of regulatory and thirdparty reviews and findings impacting The Star Sydney property governance structure
  • Create, analyse, monitor and report on committee project timelines via the use of dashboards

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Undergraduate degree in a legal, commercial, business or corporate administration field highly desirable
  • Accreditation with the Governance Institute of Australia preferred
  • Experience working in a corporate risk function or for a highly regulated organisation would be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships
  • Ability to work and communicate with colleagues in order to promote positive employee relations
