The role:

Due to an internal movement, Rabobank has an opening in Sydney for a Process Documentation Specialist.

You will join a dynamic team who work a hybrid mix of working from home and the Rabobank CBD office.


As the Process Documentation Specialist, you will create, update, maintain, store, and manage new and existing process documentation within the Operations Australia department.

The teams that this role support includes teams within the Client Integrity Unit, Payments & Processing and Settlements areas.


You will ensure that these new or amended documents are fully embedded into the business, communicated to all appropriate business units, and are executed in a manner that meets our business obligations, both internal and external.

The business requires process and work instruction records to be highly accurate and easily understood.

Therefore, the role holder will maintain the library of process documentation and associated collateral, ensuring the department is able to demonstrate the business is in control.


What will keep you busy:


  • Management and oversight of Procedures, ensuring they are fit for purpose, properly maintained, and comply with Local and Global Policies and Standards. This includes monitoring of Procedures' review dates and providing support to Operations Team Members with the updating and publication of procedures
  • Actively contributing to the creation of new or modification of existing business process and work instructions to accompany change requests and/or business process reengineering
  • Completing reviews and providing input on specifications of change requests, focusing on business process elements
  • Ensuring all procedures are reviewed by impacted teams and process experts by their agreed due date
  • Coordinating the publishing of all process related documentation in a centralised location. This includes but is not limited to; procedures, work instructions, training material, forms, checklists, and other department collateral types

Attributes, Skills & Experience you will bring to the role:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in a business environment that operates under a strong compliance and risk averse regime
  • Customer service focus with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to contribute and work in a high performing cross functional team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including intermediate level Word and PowerPoint skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
  • Demonstrated high levels of initiative
