About UTS


We are excited to partner with UTS and their Lifetime Learner Experience (LLE) team to help recruit a Domestic Student Recruitment Manager.

This role will, as part of a team, support the university's future learner recruitment and admissions through working collaboratively with peers and stakeholders to coordinate domestic recruitment plans and achieve domestic recruitment targets for two faculty units.


About the Role


The Domestic Student Recruitment Manager is responsible for driving the implementation and delivery of acquisition and conversion to support the achievement of revenue and enrolment targets.

As a part of the Future Learners Recruitment and Admissions team, the incumbent will also contribute to stakeholder relationships, consultation, and reporting.

There is one direct report, which the role works closely with.


In the role you will be responsible for;

  • Developing and implementing postgraduate and undergraduate lead nurture and conversion plans within allocated faculty/s, ensuring alignment with the overall learner acquisition strategy and marketing strategy
  • Gathering and sharing regular market insights and feedback, including potential market opportunities to inform and review against domestic acquisition plan
  • Evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of activities through qualitative and quantitative data, both regularly and on an adhoc basis
  • Maintaining awareness of competitor landscape and activity in domestic higher education space
  • Managing and developing a team member, through effective leadership, support and feedback

A bit about you


To have success in the role you will have a student recruitment background and a strong understanding of issues surrounding domestic student recruitment and retention.

You will enjoy collaborative work, have an ability to build relationships with stakeholders and be able to manage competing priorities.


You will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience and success working in a highperforming student recruitment team
  • Experience managing staff would be advantageous (but not essential)
  • Prior experience developing and delivering successful student recruitment activities and events
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data and make data driven decisions
  • Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans, objectives and documentation
  • A proven understanding of the current issues and trends within higher education in Australia
