A well-established and highly regarded yachting organisation is seeking an energetic and experienced Administrator/Accounts person to initially work a minimum of 2 days per week with the flexibility to work extra hours/days.

Actual days to be agreed ANDflexibility to work one morning in the office and one to two days from home

This is a fabulous support role overseeing the operations, events and associated Administration and Account functions and offering top $$$, excellent flexible working conditions and an additional bonus of membership


Duties include:


  • Updating website and calendar
  • Attending monthly meeting and taking minutes
  • Maintaining accurate records
Setting up basic filing and tracking system

  • Paying invoices (i.e. insurance, utility bills etc)
  • Raising (and chasing) annual membership and mooring invoices to members
  • Raising adhoc invoices for clothing items, hall hire or cleaning, slipway use and other similar items
  • Management of SQUARE payment systems for payments taken at the bar
  • Maintaining XERO records to facilitate monthly payment updates to members at the General Meeting (to include all payment made / received within the month)
  • Support to the treasurer with preparing EOFY annual financial reports, including auditor reviews

About you:


  • Demonstrated Administration/Accounts experience
  • Excellent Customer Service skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Hourly Rate:
$32 - $36 (depending on experience)
