About the role


The Ambulatory Sub-Acute Early Response Team (ASERT) is aimed at supporting staff in inpatient settings to assess and manage complex patients and effectively assist with the transfer of appropriate patients to Continuing Care (CC), Transition Care (TCP) or back to their home environment with the support of Ambulatory and Community Services (ACS).


The ASERT clinician is responsible for the provision of clinical services in an area of clinical expertise requiring special knowledge and depth of experience.


The ASERT clinician will provide best practice clinical services, have a high level of clinical knowledge and act as a clinical adviser and resource for other staff in the specific area with involvement in ongoing training.

The ASERT clinician is expected to supervise students and junior staff members where required.


The ASERT clinician is able to work independently whilst at the same time contributing strongly to the multi-disciplinary health care team and is expected to initiate and participate in teaching, training, research and quality activities.

About you


To be successful in this role you will possess:
Current registration with AHPRA or other affiliated body

Post Graduate qualifications in advertised field

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills
