In this role you will:

Develop strong partnerships with business leaders across QCS to influence and integrate attractions and recruitment plans.

Research, develop, and implement attraction, selection and retention strategies, frameworks, and reporting mechanisms and undertake continuous review to drive innovative and strategic recruitment initiatives to meet the current and future workforce requirements of QCS.Design and implementation of strategic media and recruitment campaigns.

Monitor the Agency's internal and external environment to inform future recruitment campaigns and strategies to ensure demand is achieved.

Lead and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Support Officers, Advisors and Senior Advisor (total FTE 9) to provide high quality attraction and recruitment advice and support across QCS operational streams.

Coach leaders to build organisational capability in attraction, recruitment, and talent management.

Provide expert and authoritative advice and high-level consultancy services to Executive staff and Senior Managers on Human Resource matters with specific reference to recruitment and selection through interpretation of legislation, directives, industrial instruments, Human Resource policies, and guidelines.

Develop an understanding of QCS' operational environments and translate this into improved services that deliver real benefits and meet identified needs.

Manage relationships with external stakeholders in partnership with procurement (psychometric testing providers etc)Lead and manage the professional and compassionate response to sensitive and confidential recruitment issues, including the management of employee complaints and preparation of complex high-quality correspondence, briefs, and submissions.

Manage the financial resources within the Talent acquisition GroupLead and develop a positive culture within the Talent Acquisition Group which encourages and recognises high performance, builds leadership capabilities and supports staff to maximise their potential, health and wellbeing.

Support the Assistant Commissioner, People Capability Command in the preparation and implementation of the Command's strategic objectives.
