About the role:


As our diverse business continues to expand and transform, the L&D Coordinator will collaborate with key business partners to coordinate training solutions that are highly engaging, innovative and aligned with our strategy and vision.

This is a part time position (up to 32 hours per week). Days and hours are flexible.


Key duties include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Group HR Manager and Department Managers to drive and deliver L&D initiatives and programs
  • Coordinate the delivery of training to staff including the upfront training for new recruits and ongoing refresher training for existing staff (compliance and development)
  • Provide support and coordination of leader development programs, including calendar invitations, venue, logistics, program materials and catering related to these programs
  • Assist with developing tech savvy, innovative, engaging and visually appealing learning and communication content, processes and tools ensuring it aligns with the business needs and adult learning principles.
  • Provide employees with the best tech learning solutions and contribute to fostering a culture of learning within West HQ, facilitating collaboration, encouraging idea sharing and enabling innovation

What you will need to be considered:

  • Related tertiary qualification, not essential, but highly regarded
  • Working knowledge of adult learning and development trends and initiatives that contribute to a meaningful employee experience
  • Previous experience in training / education / learning and development in a large organisation
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, MS Office, Teams and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment
  • Creative flair with strong attention to detail
  • RSA and RCG or willingness to obtain
