Description

Student Support Services (SSS) assists children and young people facing a range of barriers to learning to achieve their educational and developmental potential.

We do this through the provision of a range of strategies and specialised support at the individual, group, school, and team level within a Department Area.

SSS staff work collaboratively with schools, students, and parents to facilitate improved emotional health and wellbeing for students.

As a SSS clinician, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary Area-based team to build the capabilities of schools to support children and young people to engage in their education.

The multidisciplinary Area-based teams consist of a broad range of Allied Health professionals including psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers, behaviour clinicians and visiting teachers.

The position is part-time (0.4FTE) and fixed-term until 22/12/2024. The position services the Whittlesea area and is based at Lalor.
