Description

Responsibilities:


  • Operate a forklift to move shipping containers around the facility
  • Load and unload containers from trucks and other vehicles
  • Ensure that containers are properly secured and in good condition
  • Keep track of inventory and ensure that containers are stored in the correct locations
  • Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any issues to management
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner

Requirements:


  • Extensive experience operating a forklift
  • Must be confident operating a forklift in a busy environment
  • Valid forklift operator certification
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in an outdoor environment
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
